COO of Storehouse Ministries

As the Chief Operating Officer of Storehouse Ministries, Apostle Lawson ensures that essential services—such as food, clothing, and critical referrals—reach underserved community members. She plays a vital role in managing the operations of the ministry, furthering its mission to support vulnerable groups, including single mothers, children, and the homeless.

CEO of Destined for Greatness Center

Apostle Lawson also serves as the CEO of the Destined for Greatness Center, where she provides counseling, executive coaching, and tutoring in math and science. Her center also offers STEM enrichment programs, empowering youth to reach their full potential through education and personal development.

Trailblazing Scientist and Advocate for Diversity

Apostle Lawson is a trailblazer in science, having become the second African American to earn a B.S. in Chemistry with Certification from the College of Charleston. She has also been an influential leader in diversity advocacy, serving as the President of the African American Pipeline Team at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) in Jacksonville. In this role, she has championed leadership development and career advancement for African American professionals, focusing on dismantling barriers to success within federal careers.

Counselor and Leadership Coach

With over 20 years of experience as a counselor, Apostle Lawson has helped both Christians and non-Christians improve their lives through faith-based approaches tailored to each individual's beliefs. She holds a Master’s degree (2001) and a Doctorate (2005) in Ministerial Biblical Counseling from Truth Bible College in Jacksonville, Florida. She is a certified Leadership and Christian Coach and a member of the Global Institute of Church and Marketplace Prophets.

Apostle Ernestine B. Lawson has been honored with an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from St. Thomas Christian University. This prestigious recognition is a testament to her outstanding contributions to the ministry, her unwavering dedication to advancing the teachings of the Christian faith, and her profound impact on the spiritual and academic communities.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advocate

Apostle Lawson has held leadership roles within the African American Pipelines Advisory Team (APAT) at FRCSE, working to break down barriers that hinder the advancement of African Americans in federal careers. She has also coached candidates, trained managers in diversity and inclusion, and facilitated STEM internships and career opportunities for students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Institutions.
